Event
The Department of Theatre and Dance will be sponsoring a retirement celebration for Prof. Steve Rees on May 1 and 2. The May 1st event will be in the Marvel Theatre celebrating Steve’s career at SUNY Fredonia. The final performance of Kiss Me Kate will also be that evening.
On May 2 from 11AM-3PM we will be at Russell Joy Park for an informal picnic with alumni and friends. This will be a “bring a dish” event, with hot dogs and hamburgers and such provided. Out-of-towners can bring some pop or chips or deli treats from local supermarkets.
Let us know if you’re coming. If you want to see Kiss Me Kate you should visit the Box Office website for tickets. If you’re bringing anything for the picnic, you can write on the wall and let us know.

Tribute
We will also be gathering pictures, mementos, memorabilia, favorite stories, comments and other items to share during the weekend and put together into a scrapbook to give to Steve.
You can share your mementos three ways to be included in the Scrapbook.

3. Join the Steve Rees Fan Club on Facebook and upload a photo or leave a post on the wall. As best as possible items will be taken from the group will be added to the scrapbook.
All submissions will be need to be received by April 16 2010 in order to give us time to put it all together. Items received after that may not make it in the scrapbook but will be passed along to Steve.
