The last two weeks of the summer always bring to Fredonia the annual Playground Drama Day Camp. This program is a week-long summer program for children ages 7-12 and gives them an opportunity to learn about theatre and, at the end of the week, produce a Broadway Jr. musical show. It’s an intensive, fun program that has been growing in size since it began six years ago.
Two alumni have been significant contributors to the success of the program. Marc de la Concha has been here from the beginning six years ago, and his friend and classmate Dan Lendzian has been coming back for the last three years. We’re pleased to present a 12-minute interview with them talking about Playground and a little bit about what they’ve been up to since graduating from Fredonia.
