The Ride Rapper

David Ebert, BFA Acting ’09, is part of a new New York City experience called The Ride. Part tourist bus tour and part performance, The Ride takes passengers around 4.2 miles of Manhattan, and on almost every street corner there is a small performance waiting to perform for the passengers. David is the “Ride Rapper.” As the bus passes his location, Dave commences to free-form rap about the passengers on the bus. He wears a wireless mic and earpiece, and his rapping is transmitted into the bus for the passengers to hear and experience.

The Ride was recently featured on Anderson Cooper Live, with Dave doing some live rapping on the set with Anderson Cooper and Keke Palmer. If you want to check his act out, hit this link and see TADA’s own “Ride Rapper” do his thing on CNN.
